Caboose 36' with Offset ATSF Rd: #999640

Rel 12/20 This 36" riveted steel caboose with offset cupola is white with green roof and green lettering and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in the late 1920s, this CE-7 all-steel caboose was later rebuilt by ATSF and painted in a Christmas-themed red, white and green scheme. It toured the Santa Fe network for about a month during the holidays in 1973 before being painted into its standard brown paint.
